Technical Visit to Borsa İstanbul (BIST)

Balıkesir Üniversitesi Faculty of Applied Sciences Burhaniye Finance and Banking Club organized a technical visit to Borsa İstanbul in order to enhance students’ sectoral knowledge and professional experience. Within the scope of the organization, students had the opportunity to closely observe and gain insight into Borsa İstanbul, one of the most important centers of the financial world.

The technical visit was accompanied by faculty members Prof. Dr. Ayşe Nur Buyruk AKBABA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Soner AKKOÇ and Lecturer Dr. Ayşegül Yıldırım KUTBAY. During the program, students received comprehensive information from Alper Ayden regarding the functioning of capital markets, trading processes, and the institutional structure of Borsa İstanbul.

Throughout the visit, students had the opportunity to closely observe the functioning of the financial system and improve their knowledge of financial markets as well as their professional awareness.
